Overview
I redesigned the access management area of the Eduzz platform, making it more intuitive and efficient for producers to control user permissions. The new design improved workflows, reduced errors, and provided greater flexibility, leading to a SUS Score increase from 55 to 86 and a 75% reduction in support tickets related to control access issues.
My contribution
Redesigned the entire access management system to enhance usability and functionality.
Conducted usability tests to identify pain points and refine the experience.
Delivered a complete handoff to developers and provided ongoing support during implementation.
Ensured that the new design provided more flexibility while preventing common errors in access control.

Process
The first step in the redesign was to restructure the entire information architecture of the access management system. This allowed for greater granularity and flexibility in permission control, ensuring that producers could define access levels with more precision.
Once the new structure was in place, I moved on to designing screens and validating them with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and user expectations. This feedback was essential in refining the flows and interactions before moving into the next phase.
To further validate the experience, I developed a high-fidelity prototype in HTML (check the prototype here), which became a highlight within the team. This interactive prototype allowed for a more realistic usability testing environment, making it a crucial part of the delivery.
Alongside the usability tests, I conducted a SUS Score survey to quantify the interface improvements. The results clearly demonstrated the impact of the redesign, with the SUS Score increasing from 55 to 85, confirming significant usability gains.
Old architecture of information. Lack of standardization between products caused confusion among users.
The redesign resulted in a highly efficient and user-friendly access management system, significantly improving user experience and reducing friction in daily operations. The increase in the SUS score validated the effectiveness of the improvements, reinforcing Eduzz’s commitment to usability and product excellence.
